We offer a variety of activities throughout each Alaska fishing adventure.  The captain knows the area and will take you to the places you want to go, on a leisurely cruise or to the halibut or salmon hotspots.

Wrangell is easily accessible via Alaska Airlines.

Typical Adventure

Day 1:  Guests are greeted at the airport and transported to the Home/Lodge operated by Mark and Rheva Turner.  Settle in, get fishing licenses, eat dinner, prepare for next day's adventure, rest.

Day 2:  Salmon fishing, visit "Little Norway of Alaska", Petersburg, LaConte Glacier, spend the night on the boat.

Day 3:  Wake up on the boat on the halibut fishing grounds.  Eat fresh caught halibut.  Hunt for that monster halibut while whale watching.  Humpbacks and orcas feed in the area.  Return to Wrangell and have supper of steak, baked potato and fresh seafood prepared by Rheva.  Guests are welcome to help cut and wrap fish as part of the total adventure or they may choose to watch the sun set while sitting on the deck or walking along the beach.

Day 4:  Explore the wonders of the Stikine River by jet boat.  Cross the "Flats", the Stikine River Delta, visit Shakes Glacier up close by traveling up a narrow creek.  See wildlife as the boat takes guests into Canada and returns to Wrangell to relax and prepare for 2 more days of fishing and sightseeing on the beautiful waters of Southeast Alaska.

Day 5 and 6:  Guests will decide what type of adventure they want to have.  The boat captain is knowledgeable of the area and will plan for what the guests prefer to do.  Fishing, leisurely boat ride, exploring islands, whale watching or any combination.

Day 7:  Depart for home.
